The Sydne Jacoby Foundation, Inc. Mission

The Sydne Jacoby Foundation, Inc. was founded in the month of April in 2013 as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We established this foundation in the memory of Sydne Jacoby, an Oceanside High School graduate who tragically passed away at the age of 19 while attending the University of Massachusetts. Sydne was on board with Autism Speaks when studying at the University of Massachusetts and was always fortunate to receive a scholarship to help her pursue a higher education. In memory of Sydne Jacoby, we work with our community to raise money for numerous charities and to award a scholarship to an Oceanside High School senior, so they can further pursue their education.

What we do in honor of Sydne Jacoby

Sydne Jacoby was a varsity tennis player, a varsity softball player, and a phenomenal athlete. In honor of that, we hold, each year, a tennis tournament called Ace It for Syd to help bring people together and raise money for a good cause in honor of Sydne Jacoby.
